This symmetry (exterior of the pot and interior of the pot having the same material make up) creates a very ridged cookware that will not warp when being used on INDUCTION. Induction works with magnets and magnetic fields. A pull and push is generated between the stove top and the magnetic SS surface of the cookware. This movement creates heat. If the cookware surface is not balanced or equal inside and outside the cookware can be pulled out of form or warps. M'Cook will not warp on induction.
